Client Challenge

Enercare is one of North America’s largest home and commercial services and energy solutions companies, serving approximately 1.6 million customers annually. The company approached Clearbridge Mobile to develop a self-service application that would streamline appointment scheduling and reduce call center volume. The solution also needed to address other challenges including:

  • Uneven demand based on seasonal factors
  • Friction points in the customer validation process
  • Difficulty upselling based on current customer holdings
  • Need for a centralized customer data system

Our Solution

Enercare and Clearbridge Mobile partnered to deliver a custom mobile solution for iOS and Android that allowed clients to book and manage their service appointments. We delivered on the basis of a very strong user experience, and for the first time enabled customers to self triage any issues before calling any call center, reducing call volumes. Additionally, the app included built-in upselling capabilities based on the user’s current service contract.

The Results

The Enercare app was the first of its kind in the home services industry.
